Milliseconds, by Ben Bruns→
Happy with the way the songs are turning out lately in the meantime of getting better software. It’s practice. To those create music, artwork, writings, whatever…it feels great to see your vision come to life and to know your are getting better at refining your skills so you can create more accurate and precise concepts.
We Wonder, by Ben Bruns→
Been a while since I’ve posted here. But I’m working on a new, large album but have just been releasing songs off of it—just for the sake of releasing(think of it like a backwards process of releasing singles and then releasing the album). Eventually I will compile my favorites of what I’ve done these past few months. You can find most of the shit I’ve been working on on my bandcamp here. This one is one of my better moments I feel…
Hey man I saw your NBA Jam post. I love the game as well. How did you get game to play on your TV?
Well my buddy has a SNES and a Genesis, however, we were playing on the SNES.

Magnetism, transition, sleep.
Machu Picchu, by Omar Rodriguez Lopez→
from the album ¿Sólo Extraño?
One of my favorite Omar solo albums that just came out, as well as one of my favorite songs of his. It has such a disorienting feel with its rhythmic placement of notes, but the notes are pleasant to the ear, as subtle as the tension of some pitch shifts are. It’s very dancy and smooth thanks to the wonderfully creative drumming of Deantoni Parks. Reminds me of Can/Zep/jazz fusion. Comparisons and reference points aside—this song is amazing with its sawblade intersections and cross fading modulation shifts. Thank you Omar and Deantoni, the music you create is beautiful.
